Yesterday I wrote about something that I started implementing and making good money from. Today I am going to cut right to the point and tell you what I did.

I took 5 mins from my life to go to Text-Link-Ads, sign up for free, get the code, place it on my site. That’s it. They do the rest. After a few days they sold the first link on my site, then another, then another, now all the spots are filled month after month and generate well over $100 each time.

Need money? Want it quick with very little work? Yeah this opening sentence sounds like another lead in to yet another “get rich quicker than ever over night” scheme. I will let you in on something… it’s not.

I am talking about a very simple and quick way to make some money from your website, repeatedly, and not using adsense!

I have a number of websites that I have set up over the years. Only one is anywhere near being an “authority” in the area, the others are just standard sites with information on that are indexed in the search engines. Many of them get few hundred visitors a month and others get even less.

At the start of this year I took a plunge into a free online service and applied it to one of my sites. Around a week after doing so it now makes well over $100 per month for around 5 mins of work. Litterally!

What does optimizing a website actually mean? It means you optimize a website so that the search-engines and web-crawlers can have a better look of the website. It means the website has got a high targeted keywords density and a targeted traffic. High targeted keywords density? If you have advertisements on your website, you should be aware that targeted ads make more money than random ads.

More CTR (Click Thru Ratio) means more clicks on your Google Ads. But, is CTR all about position and colors of your ads? No! It’s a lot more than that. CTR also depends upon the quality of traffic, relevancy of ads, and even the subject of your website. Let’s get in detail:

Do you own a High CTR website?
Yes! CTR varies from Industry to industry too. It depends upon the keywords you are using to make your web page. It has been observed that more technical the topic is (but not necessarily) less CTR it will give you (for example Search Engine Optimization, Affiliate Network - exceptions are always there), but still works if the Ad content is well written.
